Bayern Munich XI vs Arsenal: Predicted lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Champions League

Bayern Munich were handed a fresh injury concern ahead of their Champions League return leg with Arsenal on Wednesday.

Kinglsey Coman was carried off during their win over Cologne on Saturday and will now miss the visit of the Gunners.

“Kingsley Coman will be out of action for FC Bayern for several weeks after the forward suffered an injury in his right adductor muscle in the Bundesliga home game against Koln on Saturday,” read a club statement.

“This was confirmed following an examination by FC Bayern’s medical department.

“Coman injured himself after a movement in the Koln penalty area with no intervention from an opponent and had to be substituted in the 50th minute.”

Former Arsenal forward Serge Gnabry, who scored at the Emirates Stadium last week in a controversial 2-2 draw, has also been ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Sacha Boey and Bouna Sarr, meanwhile, are long-term absentees.

Alphonso Davies is suspended having been booked in north London, although Manuel Neuer and Leroy Sane are expected to be fit.

Thomas Tuchel opted to rest a number of key players ahead of the game, having lost the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen this weekend.

Leon Goretzka, Dayot Upamecano and Jamal Musiala started on the bench as the German giants look to rescue their season.

Bayern Munich predicted XI vs Arsenal: Neuer; Kimmich, Upamecano, Dier, Mazraoui; Goretzka, Laimer; Muller, Musiala, Sane; Kane
