PSG vs Borussia Dortmund: Predicted XIs, confirmed team news and injury latest for Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain have been dealt a major blow ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg clash against Borussia Dortmund.

The Ligue 1 champions are already trailing following a 1-0 defeat in Germany last week and have since lost key defender Lucas Hernandez to injury.

Hernandez tore his ACL in his left knee during the first leg and will now miss the upcoming European Championship for France, too.

January signing Lucas Beraldo is primed to take his place in the PSG backline, while manager Luis Enrique may be tempted to turn to the likes of Lee Kang-in, Goncalo Ramos or Randal Kolo Muani in attack following so many missed chances last week.

Dortmund, meanwhile, are unlikely to make too changes to last week’s victory. Sebastian Haller was previously thought to have been ruled out for the season but is back in team training and may make the bench.

PSG predicted lineup: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Beraldo, Mendes; Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, Fabián Ruiz; Dembele, Mbappe, Barcola

Injured: Hernandez, Rico, Kurzawa

Dortmund predicted lineup: Kobel; Ryerson, Hummels, Schlotterbeck, Maatsen; Can, Sabitzer; Adeyemi, Brandt, Sancho; Fullkrug

Injured: Bensebaini, Duranville

Time and date: 8pm BST on Tuesday 7 May, 2024
