England unveil new Nike kits for Euro 2024 including ‘instant classic’

England have released their new home and away kits for Euro 2024.

Nike on Monday officially unveiled the strips that will be worn by Gareth Southgate’s side in Germany this summer, with the FA describing the white home effort as “an instant classic”.

England also launched a purple away kit which the FA say “reimagines iconic kits from the past with a modern twist”.

The new strips will also be worn by England women’s and para teams.

England men will wear the new kits for the first time in their friendlies against Brazil and Belgium this month, with the home kit likely to be used in one game and the away kit in the other.

The men’s version will be on sale across all sizes on March 21.

The Lionesses will wear the new kit for the first time when they play Sweden in a European Championship qualifier at Wembley on April 5, in what will be the start of their title defence.

After consultation with players, the women’s kit will now feature a wider chest and waist width, as well as an increase on the size of the sleeve opening. Versions of the women’s kit will go on sale in June.

Harry Kane is due to report for England duty at St George’s Park on Tuesday following his ankle injury scare over the weekend.

Kane was forced off after he collided with the post in Bayern Munich’s 5-2 win over Darmstadt on Saturday in which he broke a 60-year record for the most goals scored by any player in their debut Bundesliga season with his 31st.

He is due to undergo a scan on Monday amid hope that the injury is not too serious.

Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund said Kane “won’t take any risks” but he is expected to report for duty when the England squad meet up on Tuesday.
