Kieran Dowell is set to spend two months sidelined after picking up an injury in Rangers’ January training camp, manager Philippe Clement has confirmed.
The 26-year-old has made just 11 appearances for the Light Blues since joining on a free transfer from Norwich this summer.
Dowell had made his return from previous injuries just before Christmas – but was absent from last night’s 2-2 friendly draw against FC Copenhagen.
“Kieran Dowell was not here because he got injured in La Manga,” Clement said after the game.
“He will be out for several weeks, I think around two months.
“That’s long term and that’s a big blow.”
