John Lundstram is yet to sign a contract extension at Rangers with his current deal due to end in the summer – but says he would “love to stay” at the Ibrox club.
“I’ve never shied away from saying how much I love the club and how much I’d love to stay,” Lundstram said.
“But it’s obviously between me and the club to sort something out.
“I hope [a new contract is on the cards] of course but that’s between me and the club to sort out. But I would love to stay.”
Philippe Clement’s side got back on track after their defeat to Celtic last week with a 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock – and Lundstram is already looking forward to getting going again.
“It was important we bounced back after losing the three points last week against Celtic,” Lundstram said.
“I’m happy to just come back and get the three points again today and get the run back on.
“After the winter break we can go full steam ahead at the upcoming fixtures because we’re getting all our big players back.
“I’m looking forward to it and looking forward to getting back going again.”
