
The Kansas City Current rolled to a 2-0 first-half lead Saturday night in San Diego, then withstood the Wave’s second-half attack to collect a 2-1 National Women’s Soccer League victory.
Debinha scored in the third minute for the Current, firing a rocket from distance past the San Diego keeper. Kristen Hamilton then scored a goal in the 22nd to make it 2-0.
Sierra Enge scored for the hosts in the 50th minute.
