Liverpool make five changes to the team that beat Fulham to reach the EFL Cup final on Wednesday. 19-year-old James McConnell makes his full debut whilst Alisson, Ibrahima Konate, Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota also come into the side. Alisson captains the side.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dominik Szoboszlai are back from injury and take their place on the bench. Andy Robertson is also on the bench after three months out with a shoulder injury. He was on the bench against Fulham in midweek but did not come on.

Grant Hanley captains the side after recovering from a back problem, while Ashley Barnes, Christian Fassnacht, Onel Hernandez, Sam McCallum and George Long all feature. Josh Sargent and Jon Rowe miss out through injury.
