A late Rodri goal denied Chelsea a shock win as they put in an exceptional performance away at Manchester City.

Rodri’s stunning 82nd-minute effort ensured that the spoils were shared at the Etihad Stadium.

Raheem Sterling put Chelsea ahead in the first half as he curled his finish past Ederson after a stunning move involving Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson. Erling Haaland and several Chelsea players missed big chances to win the match.

The Blues quickly go back 10th in the Premier League table but showed they can compete with the best ahead of the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool next weekend.
