Arsenal U18s’ match against Brighton & Hove Albion today faced an unexpected delay when their team coach mistakenly arrived in Bournemouth instead of Brighton.

Originally scheduled to commence at 12:00 GMT, the match was subject to a 30-minute delay before ultimately being called off. The game will be rescheduled for a later date.

As reported by Arsenal Youth, the Gunners squad found themselves in Bournemouth, a location 95 miles away from Brighton, equating to a 2-hour and 21-minute drive.

Arsenal Under-18 boss are unbeaten in their last three games and now face Norwich City at home next Saturday.

Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids recently interviewed under-18’s coach Jack Wilshere, who led the Gunners to the FA Youth Cup final in his first season in charge.
